The Antisemitism Labyrinth

The Media Mirage - Cambridge

The Media Mirage - Cambridge

The term “antisemitism” is carrying a lot of confusing political and cultural weight in the United States in 2025. Many of us have pressing questions about the evolving use of the term and find it difficult to sort through and articulate these questions. Over the course of eight weeks, The Antisemitism Labyrinth will seek to provide a learning community in which we will, through historical survey and guided inquiry, lift ourselves out of the confusing maze of the heated debates of 2025, to a clearer sense of who we are and where we stand. Our sources will range from recent, in-depth journalism and commentary following the events of October 7, 2023, to curated historical sources to educational resources developed to address antisemitism at the secondary and collegiate level.

Along the way we will also consider the recent works of authors Timothy Snyder and Ta-Nehisi Coates.
